Please join us in this exciting first phase.
Your help in bringing access to the natural resources within Wayne County is vital to building a lasting legacy for the communities along the river from Honesdale to Hawley.
With this feasibility study, we'll be able apply for larger grants and funding opportunities to build out the project.
Every Little Bit Helps...
The Wayne Pike Trails and Waterways Alliance is working to create a connected trail system from Honesdale to Hawley and beyond. The first step in this process is to apply for a Department of Conservation of Natural Resources (DCNR) grant which would allow us to perform a Greenways Trails Feasibility Study. If received, the grant covers half of the estimated $80,000 to complete this foundation project, meaning the Alliance needs to raise $40,000.
For individuals, your contribution to the Wayne County Community Foundation ℅ Wayne-Pike Trails & Waterways Alliance, is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.
Funds Committed As of March 1 (in $1,000's)
